My ie 6 and my ie 7 shut down for no reason?

when i had ie 6 it would just shut down for no reason, then i upgraded to ie 7 it does the same thing what is wrong can anyone help i dont hvaev any viruses or spywarer on my computer....please help

My ie 6 and my ie 7 shut down for no reason?windows registry

The reason for the crash is that MS recently issued a validation up date for all MS software. This is to verify that the version of Windows you are using and all software, including IE is not a pirated or invalid copy. And until u do the up date IE 6 %26amp; 7 will not run and will affect other applications on your system. I know this for a fact cause my sister bought a PC a while back and was unable to run IE 7 and was not able to access the control panel or any systems programs until she did the update.

U should get a pop up asking u to do a windows update when u open IE if u do, do the update.

Shutting down unexpectedly is a problem with IE7. But I have used IE6 since it came out years ago, and never had that problem. If IE6 was shutting down without warning, then you have a different problem. Have you run virus and spyware checks? If so, update both and run them again.
Yes, I also found out thier is a prob with IE 7, try validateing windows, at windows.com, it updates your system, i have had less crashes.
Or just get Firefox, it's a lot better than IE.
Mine does that cuz of certain add-ons. You should disable any unecessary add-ons or maybe some you didn't down load. Go to tools%26gt;manage add-ons
I would scan your pc to find out what pest do you have. I would go to www.infectedornot.com or bitdefender.com just in case. Afterwards, I would update IE from the Microsoft site
im having the same trouble with my ie 7...i downloaded aol explorer and i havent had trouble at all....i think it has something to do with the firewall settings with certain programs that screw up ie7...some new motherboards have built in firewalls that stay silent in the background...that could be a problem as well.....try aol explorer...let me know how it works for you..good luck
